I LOVED my tour with Jane. She is incredibly knowledgeable and we saw a dozen+ variety of birds on our outing. It's super interesting to learn about the ecosystem, the birds themselves, and the experience is cathartic and grounding. Can't recommend it enough to folks in the area (or visitors!). Jane was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to position us so we ended up seeing over 20 types of birds. "I first went birding with Jane at Belmar Park in the fall of 2024. I learned so much, and had so much fun, that I hired her for another birding venture at City Park during winter.
I probably would've noticed about 4 different birds on my own. Jane was able to point out and identify over a dozen birds on each outing!
She knows species not just by sight and sound, but even how they fly. She also knows particular traits of many birds and does impersonations of some, including the Canada Jay, which does a little dance before it tries to steal your food. :)
My plan is to pay her a little extra for an avian adventure just outside of Denver at a birding hotspot like Barr Lake State Park. Highly recommended."
